We are thrilled to celebrate former grad student, Chloe Johnson’s, successful completion of the Developmental Psychology program at the University of Missouri and success in obtaining a faculty position at Prairie View A&M University. Chloe will be continuing her work as a developmental scientist focusing on identity development and individual differences among young adults, and growing her expertise in measuring relevant experiences for Black women.
As Chloe continues to grow her independent research lab, she will continue advancing publications in the concepts of Black women’s resistance of anti-Black and anti-female harm in society and in measuring personality differences in approaches to active and transformational resistance among Black women. She will also continue advancing other research directions in the study of major adult transitions into work, school, and family roles for multiple groups of adults.
We are excited about the continued opportunities and success for Dr. Johnson and wish her the best in this next chapter!
